This Privacy Policy explains how Merge Audio:Combine Sounds (the “App” or “we”) handles your information. Our core principle is simple: Your audio files and project data never leave your device. We do not operate any servers that store your media or personal data.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We provide a private utility service. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Personal Information (PII): We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account details. There is no “Sign Up” process required to use the App.
• Audio Content: We do not have access to the audio files you merge. All processing (merging, trimming, and fading) happens locally on your iPhone or iPad.
• Location Data: We do not track your physical location or GPS data.
• Usage Logs: We do not track which specific files you are merging or the content of your projects.

3. Information Handled Locally (On-Device Only)

To provide the app’s functionality, certain data is stored strictly on your device using Apple’s Secure Storage (SwiftData and Security-Scoped Bookmarks).

• Project Data: Information such as project names, track order, and edit settings is stored locally so you can return to your work later.
• File Bookmarks: The App remembers the location of the audio files you selected from your device to avoid making unnecessary copies, but it does not upload these files.
• Exported Files: The final merged audio file is created in your device’s temporary directory until you choose to share or save it elsewhere.

Data Security: Your data is protected by iOS system security. If you delete the App, all local project data will be removed. Your original source audio files remain untouched in their original locations.

4. Third-Party Services (Apple App Store)

Because the App is distributed via the Apple App Store, certain interactions are managed by Apple:

• Subscriptions & Payments: All transactions are handled by Apple. We see anonymized transaction IDs to verify your “Premium” status, but we never see your credit card or billing details.
• Crash Reports & Basic Analytics: Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated data (e.g., app crash frequency or total downloads). This is used strictly to fix bugs and improve app stability.

5. Third-Party Access

We do not share, sell, or rent any user data to third parties. We do not include any third-party advertising SDKs or tracking pixels (such as Facebook or Google Analytics) in the App.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is a general-purpose utility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no data is transmitted to our servers, we do not maintain any database of user information regardless of age.

7. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Kochi (Kerala), India.
